I can’t say enough amazing things about Kyrstin from Top Notch Paws! I brought my mini golden doodle, Pia, in for grooming yesterday, and from start to finish, it was such a wonderful experience. Pia was unfortunately pretty matted and in need of a fresh start, and she has always been anxious about grooming. Kyrstin was incredibly patient and gentle with her, making it a truly stress-free visit. The one-on-one grooming appointment was a huge plus—we loved the personalized care. Kyrstin even played a calming Disney playlist just for Pia (we’re big Disney fans, so that was extra special and thoughtful!). She kept me comfortable and informed the whole time, which really put this nervous dog mom at ease. The grooming space was spotless, welcoming, and easy to find. And when I saw Pia afterward, I was blown away—she looked amazing, with the cutest little pink bows in her hair ?. We couldn’t be happier with our experience. Pia’s fresh, happy, and looking fabulous, all thanks to Kyrstin. 10/10, highly recommend!
Kyrstin is absolutely phenomenal! She has been grooming my dog & cat for years now and I’m so lucky to have been able to follow her to her new adventure? Not only is she one of the cleanest groomers ever, really taking the time to thoroughly clean her equipment but she has a natural gift for making animals feel comfortable. Amanda is an excellent groomer! I have a large cranky male Siamese who can be very aggressive with having his nails clipped. Amanda is very fast with clipping his nails! My sister & I both hold him because he bites and Amanda zooms around him, clipping all 4 paws before he has a chance to bite! She has a great system! I highly recommend her!!
Kyrstin has taken over grooming duties and had our hairy Berniedoodle scheduled and trimmed in less than a week. He looks great and in this 90 degrees heat staying cool.
I’ve brought my standard sized Goldendoodle to Amanda a few times and she’s always done such a great job! She’s friendly and you can tell she really likes what she does. I love that it’s located at her house so it’s a calmer setting for the pet. She’s always been flexible with scheduling. The only reason I’m taking a star off is she doesn’t have a tub for large dogs so unfortunately she is only able to groom my dog and not bathe. It’s still worth me traveling from CT!
Kyrstin is the only one who has ever groomed my pup. She is a dog lover who is gentle, takes pride in her work, and does an amazing job!
Amanda is a truly gifted groomer. My dogs are well treated and look fabulous after a visit from her. She’s been grooming my dogs for years! I highly recommend her. We adore our beautiful, happy mini golden doodle puppy Birdy. Randall and Robin and their twin sons were such kind and helpful people. We got DNA info, vet records and answers to all our many questions. So far our sweet pup is healthy, happy and adjusting quite well. Had an awesome experience! We were looking for a puppy but I am usually allergic to many dogs. They worked with me to hold and get close to the dog on two separate visits to make sure I wasn't having any reactions. After 2 or 3 visits I could confidently go home with our puppy knowing I wasn't allergic in any way. Couldn't ask for a better situation. Highly recommend!

I don’t even know where to start, But to keep it short the Hess family are thee best breeders around! We ended up falling inlove with Cairo (formerly known as Dakota) he was from a Shih-poo liter back in July. Before putting a deposit we FaceTimed so that I could see the pup ?? and leading up to me picking him up I was getting photos and updates on my future puppy. I am a little over 2 hours away from their location and this family is so amazing that they offered to meet me half way which truly made things sooo much easier for me. Upon arrival we got our puppy with some food, toys and as well as a vet card that showed his latest immunizations!! After having the puppy top notch paws was still there for me! Answering all my questions and giving me tips. We have had our pup a little over a month and a half and our puppy has been the best addition to our family. THANK YOU TO THE HESS FAMILY

We are super thankful for our 11 week old Cockapoo pup Dexter (Oregano). I found Top Notch Paws on social media and reached out to them a few times till I felt I found my furever dog, I took the two hour trip to meet the puppy and fell in love, went back a few days later to bring him home. The owners were both amazing, very knowledgeable, nice, very responsive with all my messages( yes I sent quite a few) before I picked a pup and after I brought Dexter home. Dexter was clean, and had a clean bill of health from our vet. He’s the best puppy. I would definitely get another puppy from Top Notch Paws again.
We brought home our beautiful boy Berne doodle (aka Mr Waffles) In March 2024. He is the Sweetest, most playful, lovable ball of joy! He fits in perfectly with our family (we have a collie doodle and 2 teen boys). The Hess Family was SO wonderful to deal with! They are kind and compassionate with their animals and Customers. Adopting Mr waffles was the most pleasant experience we have ever had adopting a dog! Highly recommended and will adopt through them again. Thank you SO much for our new baby boy!
